Supplication to the Seven Aspects of Protectress Tārā and Other Prayers

This booklet includes a collection of prayers to Ārya Tārā selected by Garchen Rinpoché and translated at his request. In particular, the Supplication to the Seven Aspects of Protectress Tārā was composed by Jigten Sumgön after he was healed from leprosy and attained enlightenment in the Echung Cave.
Over the years Garchen Rinpoché has distributed far and wide numerous little booklets that contain the heart essence of the Buddhas’ teachings. This one was created to his specifications—small enough to fit in a breast pocket, featuring liberations on sight and on wearing on the covers, with mantras and cover color selected by Rinpoché and artwork created under his direction.
